14 Day return policy

Our 14 day return policy gives you plenty of time to consider your purchase. That way you can be sure you made the right decision.

If for any reason you aren't satisfied, you can return any item in its original condition within 14 days of the date of shipment for a refund or an exchange. It's that simple.

We can also exchange your jewellery for another item, give you another ring size, repair your item, or mount your opal in a setting. Contact us by phone Fax or email for a quotation.

In the case of exchange of goods and refund, the shipping charges have to be borne by the customer.

In the case of refunds. MOC will refund the amount less the shipping charges originally charged at  the time the item was sent to the customer.

Once we receive your returned item and it is accepted, your refund money or a new item will be processed in just five business days. Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department. Please note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized (by a jeweller other than Melbourne Opal Centre), or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. Returns with no Melbourne Opal Centre return authorisation advise, and packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused receipt.


To return a jewellery item to Melbourne Opal Centre, follow our three step process:

1. Your Return Authorization Advise. Call or email and you will be given a Return Authorization Advise.
2. Package Your Return. Place all the original packaging in the box, including the appraisal certificate. For security reasons, do not write Melbourne Opal Centre anywhere on the outside of the box.
3. Insure Your Package.
